Alexandra-Maria-Lara

Alexandra Maria Lara (born in Romania) is a Romanian actress and television presenter. She is best known for her role as the star of Rush, Downfall Youth Without Youth Control, and Rush. Alexandra was the sole daughter of Romanian actor Valentin Platareu. at the age of sixteen, she had secured a number of TV roles for instance, the lead in Downfall Youth Without Youth Control. Her performance as Adolf Hitler's Secretary Traudl Jue in Downfall (an Oscar-nominated wartime historical film), was critically and critically acclaimed commercially. The Reader as well as Der Baader Meinhof Komplex were both nominated for Oscars. Alexandra's career has seen her be involved in a variety of significant national and international productions. These projects include the British biographical film Control Greek Drama film The Dust of Time French Historical Miniseries Napoleon and many others. In addition, she is an official jury member for two festivals: the Transylvania International Film Festival and Cannes Film Festival.
